Ballistol gun oil and universal oil – proven for over 120 years

Ballistol gun oil dissolves bullet fouling and cleans, cares for and lubricates all gun parts.

Whatever you may read elsewhere, the fact is: Ballistol never gums up – not even after decades. We guarantee this, as Ballistol cannot gum up due to its composition.

Ballistol oil is available as a spray, liquid, in the precision oiler or as a richly soaked disposable wipe.

Gun care with Ballistol gun oil:

Gun care is probably the best-known use of Ballistol. That's why Ballistol is often referred to as gun oil.
Ballistol is the care product of choice for hunting, service and sporting guns. We would like to point out once again that Ballistol cannot gum up due to its chemical composition – even if you have heard or read other claims. This statement can be proven at any time. Ballistol dissolves lead, copper, zinc, brass and tombac fouling in the barrel. Each shot leaves residue from the projectile and the combustion of the ammunition, forming a thin film that builds up time after time until the gun suddenly and "inexplicably" scatters. Ballistol remedies this without brushing, scratching or scraping. Simply spray Ballistol into the barrel and chamber, leave it to work, pull through a few times with tow or cleaning felt and everything is as good as new. For heavier fouling and deposits, repeat the process several times. Also read the care instructions in the Ballistol gun care guide. The alkaline special oil Ballistol also ensures trouble-free cleaning and preservation of black powder guns such as muzzleloaders or signal pistols and blank pistols and revolvers. Ballistol neutralises and dissolves these particularly aggressive residues without causing damage. Ballistol is also ideal for leather care of slings, belts, holsters and tactical gloves.
