Ballistol for gun stock care

Valuable stock wood has been cared for with Ballistol for over 120 years. When it was developed, Ballistol was intended above all for three areas: skin care, metal care and wood care. Ballistol is available in two versions: as an oil spray and as a liquid oil. If you want to use Ballistol for gun stock care, we recommend the liquid Ballistol oil. Like all oil sprays, the spray contains some solvent so that it can be atomized. Only with our Oil Atomizer Pro can you, thanks to a special mechanism, atomize even viscous oil almost as finely as with conventional aerosol cans. The pure oil is better suited to wood care because it contains no volatile components that evaporate after the work is done.

Rain and condensation damage any wooden stock. The wood becomes dull and swells, then shrinks again in dry heat, cracks and becomes brittle. Ballistol regenerates the stock wood, waterproofs it against moisture and protects it from drying out.
