Ballistol ceramic spray – dry lubrication
Ballistol ceramic spray is a high-performance ceramic-based dry lubricant – free of oil and silicone, temperature-resistant from -55 °C to +1,000 °C, and suitable for all metal and plastic surfaces. It permanently reduces static, sliding, and rolling friction without resinifying or forming lubricant sludge.
Dry lubrication without residue – clean and long-lasting
Conventional lubricants leave oily films that attract dirt and cause sticking. Ballistol ceramic spray works differently.
The finest ceramic particles penetrate microscopic surface structures, providing dry lubrication right where it's needed. No oil. No grease. No silicone. This makes the dry lube ideal for hygiene-sensitive environments and anywhere oily hands or smeared surfaces are unacceptable.
Typical applications
- Bearings and rollers
- Slideways and guide rails (textile, wood, and paper industries)
- Gearboxes and gear wheels
- Cable pulls and telescopic guides
- Metal and plastic components of all kinds
Lubricating telescopic rails on oven pull-outs
Is the telescopic rail hard to pull out after cleaning the oven? Ballistol ceramic spray is the ideal dry lubricant for oven pull-out mechanisms. Thanks to its guaranteed operating temperature range of up to +1,000 °C, the dry lube holds up effortlessly even under oven heat.
The alternative to PTFE spray
PTFE sprays have long been considered the standard for dry lubrication. That is changing fundamentally. The EU is increasingly classifying PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) as a problematic per- and polyfluoroalkyl substance (PFAS). New regulations are restricting the use of such substances.
As a modern dry lubricant spray, Ballistol ceramic spray delivers high material compatibility, extreme temperature stability, and clean application. It is the future-proof alternative for both private users and industrial professionals who rely on dependable ceramic spray technology.
How to apply Ballistol ceramic dry lube
- Shake the can well for 20 seconds.
- Spray evenly onto the surfaces to be treated from a distance of 10 to 25 cm.
- Allow to dry briefly.
