Lubricating oils

Not every lubricant suits every problem. Ballistol offers you a targeted selection of special oils – for the home, the workshop and industrial use. Different special oils are used depending on the application, from extremely creeping precision mechanics oil to temperature-resistant high-performance lubricants.

Precision mechanics oil

For the finest mechanisms, a particularly thin penetrating oil with exceptional creeping ability is ideal. Thanks to its low viscosity and low surface tension, it penetrates even the tiniest gaps. Ideal for measuring instruments, sewing machines or model making. The oil adheres strongly to metal surfaces, lubricates for a long time and preserves delicate components at the same time.

Silicone spray and silicone oil

Silicone spray is one of the most versatile lubricants in the home and in industry. The mineral oil free lubricant cares for plastics and rubber particularly gently. Door and window seals stay supple and are less likely to freeze in winter. Plastic roller shutters run more quietly. Stuck zips move smoothly again. Pram joints or plastic gears can also be lubricated cleanly.

In industry, silicone spray also impresses as a release agent. Silicone is taste-neutral, chemical-resistant and extremely compatible with materials. As well as the spray, Ballistol also offers liquid silicone oil with a practical dosing tip for precise applications.

Ceramic spray – dry lubrication up to +1,000 °C

For extreme temperatures and heavy loads, the ceramic spray is the right choice. This high-performance dry lubricant withstands temperatures of up to +1,000 °C and is suitable for metal and plastic surfaces. The spray permanently reduces static, sliding and rolling friction. It does not gum up and does not form lubricant sludge. This lubricant is ideal for demanding applications with high thermal loads.

Assembly spray – copper graphite for the toughest jobs

Ballistol assembly spray combines copper and graphite into a powerful high-pressure lubricant. It makes assembling and later disassembling components much easier. At the same time, it reduces abrasion between metal, plastic and rubber. The protective film remains stable even under extreme pressure. Salt water, gases and aggressive vapours can do little to this lubricant. It also reliably protects against corrosion and contact corrosion between different metals.

ProTec rust protection oil – long-lasting corrosion protection

When long-term rust protection is the priority, ProTec rust protection oil is the right choice. The wax-free formula permanently protects machines, precision tools, measuring instruments, moulds and dies against corrosion. More lubricating oils – from the workshop to the bike

As well as the lubricants mentioned, Ballistol also offers classic lubricating oils for the workshop, leisure and vehicle care. Lubricating greases

Lubricating greases are used wherever long-lasting lubrication, high pressure resistance and reliable corrosion protection are required. These lubricants adhere strongly to surfaces, protect moving parts in the long term and stay reliably in place even under heavy loads.

Multi-purpose grease – long-lasting, pressure-stable, sealing

Ballistol multi-purpose grease is ideal for long-term lubrication of plain bearings, rolling bearings and industrial machinery. It permanently reduces friction and wear and withstands very high pressure loads. The grease also impresses with its water-repellent properties and strong adhesion. As a result, it reliably protects components against corrosion even in demanding conditions. Its high resistance to ageing and mechanical stability ensure consistently high lubrication performance even over long periods of use.

Vaseline

Ballistol's white Vaseline contains no preservatives. This resin-free and acid-free wax-paraffin blend impresses with its high compatibility and versatility. Ideal for applications where gentle lubrication is the priority.

GunCer with ceramic additive – precision lubrication with emergency-running reserve

With GunCer, Ballistol offers a modern special grease with ceramic additive for the highest demands. It is suitable for lubricating heavily loaded sliding pairs and moving metal parts, such as bolt guides, locking mechanisms, hinge pins and screw and pin connections.

The white special grease adheres excellently without sticking or gumming up. Thanks to the ceramic additives, reliable emergency-running properties are maintained even under heavy loads. At the same time, GunCer is neutral towards plastic, paint, wood and bluing. The odour-neutral grease is resin-free, acid-free and ideal for precision applications.
