This Fine Point Oiler sometimes named Geizhals dispenses single drops of oil. Even oils with very low viscosity can stored for a long term without lose only one drop of oil. This Fine Point Oiler is a high quality product from a German brand manufacturer. The Fine Point Oiler may also dose smallest quantities of oil and due to its 50 mm long lance it also reach deeply and hidden parts. Through the combination of pinpoint and rubber cap, the Fine Point Oiler lubricates highly precise and only there, where you wants. All adjoining parts and surfaces remain unlike conventional oilers or oil sprays free from oil. The Fine Point Oiler is also equipped with a clip. So you can wear it in the breast pocket e.g. or in the tunic.

The Fine Point Oiler is a suited and individual gift for any precision mechanics, watchmaker, engineer, janitor or craftsmen.

The handling of the Fine Point Oiler is simple. Fill up ca. 5 ml oil and push the precision pinpoint on the work piece. This will release a very small amount of oil. With an additional tip on the rubber cap, the amount can be increased as required. The oil will dispense drop by drop. This will build up a little pressure in the reservoir and the oil will drip out drop by drop. We recommend Gunex universal oil and penetrating oil for this Fine Point Oiler. Gunex oil is available in sizes from 50 ml also here in the Ballistol Shop.

* The invisible mechanics of this oil pen contains materials which can be attacked by alkaline oils after some time. Incidentally, this is the case for all oil pens in this price range, even if you find other information in the descriptions. Alkaline oils such as Ballistol have special cleaning properties and are even able to solve certain alloys.

** Even the transparent plastic window, do not work permanently with alkaline oils and possibly get mat.

Our recommendation:

If you want to fill the oiler with alkaline oil such Ballistol, choose the high-end oil pen. The of this pen mechanism includes only high-quality and resistant materials and can also store alkaline oils permanently without any problems.

If you use a neutral oil such as Gunex, Ustanol and all other oils in our assortment, you can use any oil pen.

If you want to see the filling level of the tank, you may also select an oiler with a transparent tank.
