Tick spray with the active ingredient Icaridin

The active ingredient Icaridin makes Ballistol tick spray particularly effective against ticks. This proven repellent contains 20% Icaridin – an active ingredient that provides effective protection by actively keeping ticks away with an invisible protective barrier.

Combined with essential oils, its effect is enhanced while also giving it a pleasant scent. After application, it is quickly absorbed into the skin.

How Ballistol tick spray differs from other products

Ballistol tick spray clearly stands out from other products thanks to its special combination of active ingredients.

More active ingredient does not automatically mean better protection. Many conventional tick repellents contain either too little Icaridin, so they don't repel ticks reliably, or too much, which puts unnecessary strain on the skin and can affect tolerability.

The perfect dosage makes the difference. Ballistol relies on exactly 20% Icaridin combined with essential oils.

Another important difference is the consistent avoidance of DEET.

DEET is considered less skin-friendly and questionable in terms of health. DEET also has an unpleasant, chemical smell.

How to use Ballistol tick spray

Spray the tick repellent evenly onto unprotected skin and onto areas covered only by thin clothing. For use on the face, first spray onto your palms and spread carefully, taking care to avoid the eye area.

A thin, even layer is quite sufficient.

Toddlers

Ballistol tick spray is suitable for toddlers from 2 years. The active ingredient Icaridin reliably protects the little ones.

An adult should always apply it. First spray the product into your own hands, then spread it thinly and evenly over the child's skin.

Spraying tick spray on clothing

Ballistol tick repellent spray offers the added advantage that it can be sprayed onto clothing without hesitation. The special formula is not sticky and leaves no stains on textiles.

Protection on clothing further enhances the effect on the skin. Treat trouser legs and socks in particular, as this area often comes into contact with tick-infested vegetation.
