Balsin gun stock oil Light

The popular Balsin stock oil comes from Ballistol. Balsin Light is based on high-quality linseed oil with a small addition of silicone oil. The oil also contains a very small amount of solvent to make the job easier. The solvent makes it easier to work the stock oil into the wood because less effort is needed and the oil can penetrate the pores faster.

After treatment with Balsin, the oil-finished stock is protected from wind and weather. The stock oil also protects against rot, mould and fading. It is not only intended for the preservation and care of new stocks, but also for the restoration, regeneration and refinishing of old rifle stocks that have become brittle and pale. With Balsin gun stock oil, your oil-finished stock will look like new again.

Balsin gun stock oil in three mixable colours: Light, Red-Brown and Dark Brown

To colour an untreated stock, or a stock that has only been pre-treated when you buy a new gun, the Red-Brown and Dark Brown versions give you the desired tint; both stock oils are also suitable for touching up the colour of the stock. To enhance the grain and for regular gun stock care after hunting, we recommend Balsin gun stock oil Light.

Balsin gun stock oil is available in the following shades

• Stock oil Light for light stocks that should not darken further and for mixing with darker colours
• Stock oil Red-Brown for reddish-brown oil-finished stocks
• Stock oil Dark Brown for dark wooden stocks such as walnut stocks

Here you will find a set with 3 bottles of Balsin – one bottle of each colour.
